![]() | The Women’s World Cup is much less attractive than the Men’s World Cup. This is the truth. But I am surprised by Japanese Women’s football team. I didn’t think that they could defeat the US to win the champions. But they did and they deserve the honor. Japan and US drew at 2:2 in 90 minutes. During the penalty kicks, Japan goalkeeper Ayumi Kaihori saved two goals and helped Japan crush US by 5:3. Congratulations to them! Their victory reminds me of Chinese Women’s football team. They won the second place of 1999 Women’s World Cup. 12 years later, they even can’t qualify to the 2011 Women’s World Cup. What’s wrong? |
