My travel Plan is: 2nd Sept: DHAKA to KUNMING (2:20-6:20) Transit Hr= 8:50 HR KUNMING to SHANGHAI (15:10-18:15) Transit Hr= 19:15 HR 3rd Sept: SHANGHAI TO VANCOUVER (13:30-9:10) I need to stay about one day at shanghai. I plan to book a hotel and also do some shopping (buy a Laptop and other electronics for my personal use). Can anyone suggest me what type of visa should I apply? Is a single entry transit visa is ok? Also pls suggest me any cheap hotel and shopping mall for buying things at cheap rate.

You can buy a PC from the pacific computer shop in Xujiahui District of Shanghai. The brands are preferred. For cheap hotels, you may try to find a Home Inn or Hanting Express around the area.
