Since 1991, Turpan has successfully held 19 Grape Festivals. The 20th Turpan Grape Festival will be held from August 18-28 this year. The highlight of this year’s grape festival is to select Turpan Tourism Image Ambassador, according to the local officials.

Besides, a variety of activities will be held during festival, such as sand sculpture exhibition in Turpan, climbing competition in Flaming Mountain, campfire at the Aydingkol Lake and Grape Eating Contest.

It is estimated that around 100,000 people will join the 20th Turpan Grape Festival.

Raisin is my favorite. I really want to go there to buy some authentic and fresh raisin. But I won't go to Flaming Mountain because I don't want to die.
