According to Sina.com portal, it is very likely that Lippi will coach Chinese men’s football team if China can offer him a yearly salary of 7 million euros after tax.

Before this, Guangzhou Hengda Football club contacted Lippi and wanted him to coach its team. But Lippi refused.

Actually, Egypt also wants to invite Lippi to coach their national team. But Egypt can’t pay him a yearly salary of 7 million euros.

So far, Lippi hasn’t refused Egypt and China’s national team’s invitation. If China can satisfy Lippi’s salary requirement, Lippi might accept China’s offer. It is said that China has prepared 5 million to invite a world class experience coach. If China really wants Lippi to be its national team’s coach, 5 million is definitely not enough.

China also made a contact with Scolari who once coached Brazil but he refused China’s invitation. Scolari hopes that he can coach Brazil again.

I was shocked when I read this. It is useless that China plans to improve its national men’s football team by inviting famous coaches. A coach can not save a team if all the players are just a bunch of dumb asses.

I suggest China learns from its rival Japan. Save 7 million euros and see how they develop their soccer. Or you can use the money to help Chinese women's footballers. At least, they won the second place of 1999 World Cup.

See, Japan has 30000 registered women footballers while China just has 400. Why don't Chinese parents refuse their kids to play football? Because they don't see the future.

What? Lippi will be out of his mind if he takes the job. If he doesn't want to ruin his reputation, he should refuse CHina's invitation and find another team.

Burning passion have become burning desire for money.

Lippi is a great coach but like other great coaches he too needs a great team to continue being a great coach.

Why did not they call me instead of Lippi? I would have been as succesful as he would be. And it would have cost only 3 million euros.

Haha, you are expensive too. I would ask them to pay me CNY 1 per year. Another condition: Prepare a place for me to live (I don't need a five star hotel).

Finally, Lippi declined China's invitation by requiring high salary. Very clever!

Well, China has found a new coach for its national football team. He is Ignacio Camacho Barnola. His salary is 3 million euros, half of Lippi's expected salary. The report said that he was going to sign the contract in Beijing but his arrival has delayed because his visa wasn't settled.

I don't want to see his failure but he is doomed to failure. The problem is not about the coach. It is about the football players. A general can not win a battle if all his soldiers are cowards. Good luck to him!

I am with you, Dreamlife. Those famous coaches should reject China's offer to avoid ruining their fame unless they just want the money and don't care about their fame.

The facts have already proved that the coach is not the most important key to save Chinese fooball. Why is the China Football Association so stubborn?

PS: You may not know that China once wanted Rijkaard to coach China's national football team. Unfortunately, he accepted Saudi Arabia's offer to coach their national football team.

Ignacio Camacho Barnola has signed the contract and become the coach of the Chinese national fooball team. His first rule is "Those disobedient footballers will not be inclued in Chinese national team". See, his first step is to set up his absolute leadership.
