I am traveling to Beijing for the first time in September. Besides the obvious Peking Duck, what would be other Beijing foods that I should try while I am there? I am also taking a cooking course while there.

I like the fried bean-paste noodles. Maybe it's because I'm from northern China and noodle is always my favorite:)

I like Goubuli stuffed Buns. I know that it is a famous snack in Tianjin but I tasted it in Beijing. It is delicious but very expensive.

I don't like noodles very much let alone the famous snack fermented bean milk (豆汁). I tried onece. It was sour and smelly. I couldn't stand it.
