Do I need to have booked a Return flight to enter China?

guestRachael Hello!

I'm sending this email from Brisbane, Australia. I have been to China twice before, but this time I have purchased a one way ticket. The return flight is supposed to be paid for by my scholarship from Han Ban.

I have a certificate stating this, but I am slightly worried about whether or not there will be issues with immigration regarding this.

Help Please!

GUEST19140 I've been to China a dozen times, and immigration never asked me to show a return ticket. They looked at other things.
When you apply for a new visa they look at your previous departures, to verify that you haven't overstayed your visas.
However, that doesn't mean that they won't ask to see a return ticket in the future. IMHO, with your certificate, you don't have to worry.
