guest19140	What are some of the divorce laws in China, regarding assets from prior to the marriage, assets acquired during the marriage and division of those assets, whether acquired by the husband or the wife?

This law is currently undergoing change but not sure if it will be retrospective. Generally assets owned before marriage remain with the owner after divorce. Assets obtained during the marriage are shared ownership and would be divided.

GUESTRANDY	I was married in china then we moved to sweden and after some years we divorced in sweden.My question is do we need to divorce in china as well?,or is our divorce in sweden valid in china.
