Warning to those tourists who might want to use Li Ye Qing of Terracotta Warrior Tours (he goes by the name Tony). We contracted for a three day tour that was an absolute disaster. From the moment we were picked up at the airport and he immediately pressured us to go to a dumpling dinner, Tony worked for himself, not us. Taking tourists to jade factories and Terracotta Warrior statues is standard fare, though it would have been nice if Tony had not gone as promised. Actually providing some information on tours wouldn't have hurt either.
Far worse was taking payment for entry to the Shaanxi History Museum (there is no admission charge), taking us to the Xian Museum instead and pretending it was the right museum, taking payment for entry to a pagoda and then claiming it was closed (it wasn't), and saying that payment was needed to enter general park grounds (there wasn't).
Overall, he cheated us of one of the best museums in China, overcharged us, and left us feeling unsafe and disappointed.
