Z Visa - X ray and ECG

I was just wondering if the chest X-ray and ECG are necessary for the Chinese Z visa. I've had conflicting advice as to if these are needed.

GUESTLINDA I'm Filipino and was required to do the chest X-ray exam and ECG.
