Dependant visa in Shanghai?

My husband is moving to China on a student visa. i would like to accompany him and may be find a job there.

Pls advise can I apply for dependant visa? Can I work with that visa?

You can apply for dependant visa, and work with that visa. To appy for your dependant visa, you need provide copy of your husband's passport, your China X visa and marriage license. But you may just get L visa for family visit.

I suggest you contact the local Chinese embassy/consulate for more info.
