John Doleva, the president and CEO of Hall of Fame has confirmed that Yao’s agent called Wednesday morning to set aside Yao’s nomination. Why did Yao Ming delay on Hall of Fame nomination? It is a great honor to enter the Hall of Fame for a basketball player. But Yao Ming, the well-known Chinese basketball player, has given up his nomination as a contributor to 2012 Hall of Fame.

GUEST2333	It is possible that he will enter the hall of fame. Some resources said that Yao wanted to enter the Hall of Fame in the name of a basketballer not as a contributor. This means that he has to wait around 6 years.
