China airlines to cut jet fuel surcharge
Sep 6, 2011 03:12
guestflyinchina According to the news, the jet fuel surcharge for Chinese domestic flights longer than 800 kilometers will be adjusted. Passengers who take Chinese flights longer than 800 kilometers will pay CNY 140 for the jet fuel surcharge, CNY 10 than before. However, the jet fuel surcharge for the flights less than 800 kilometers will still remain at CNY 80.

The drop in the jet fuel surcharge is because the factory price of the aviation kerosene has decreased.

Good question. Maybe it is because of the Mid Autumn Holiday and National Day Holiday.

The jet fuel surcharge has been raised many times this year but it is the first time that China Airlines cut it. Why?
