NIHAOCHINA Points: Join Date: Mar 30, 2004 Status: offline	We are going to Feng Huang Cheng (Phoenix Town) in May Holiday. and I need as much as info before we set off. I am currently working in Guangdong. and I am wondering how to get there in a cheaper way. how much does the food and the hotels cost in this town.Also ,we'd love to visit some remote minority villiges nearby which are not so touristy.:). Is it possible to do that? any help would be grateful.

DEE0228 Points: Join Date: Sep 14, 2004 Status: Offline	NihaoChina! I was planning to go to Feng Huang a few weeks ago, but now I'm changing my mind. A friend of mine in Hunan told me that the expense would be at least 2-3 times higher during May day holiday than other time, and the crowds of tourists would damp down your spirits.
