Federer had the chance to win but he wasted two matcing points. He blamed himself at the news conference. On the other hand, Nadal beat Murray and will compete with Djokovic in the final. It will be a hard fight for him. |

| This was a very strange slam! Not only did Federer have two match points that he didn't convert, but he also had a 2-0 lead in sets that he let slip to 2-2. Then after he blew the two match points he lost that game. The score was now 5-4 Federer in the 5th set. Federer proceeded to choke and lost the next additional three games. So he lost four games in a row from a 5-3 lead in the final set! This is the second time that Federer has lost match points against the Djoker and ended up losing the match at slams. The slam final Djoker vs. Nadal was also a roller coaster ride! The Djoker looked like he would run away with the match jumping off to a 2-0 sets lead. But then he started to lose steam and Nadal picked up some energy. Nadal won the 3rd set in a tie-break. At 2-1 in sets for the Djoker, he called a medical timeout. He had a problem with a muscle strain in his back. Although he had problems moving in the 4th set, Nadal was also slowing down due to fatigue! After a few games in the 4th set it became clear that Nadal was more tired than the Djoker! The Djoker then proceeded to run away with the match in short order, 6-1 in the 4th set. It was a nail biter, a very strange match indeed. |

| Oops, Djokovic has won 10 champions including three grand slams so far. He is very close to Federer and Nadal's records. Nadal once claimed 11 champions in 2005 and Federer, 12 champions in 2006. After the USA Open, no one can threaten the World No.1. Nadal is more than 4000 points away from Djokovic. Canadaguy, why did you call Djokovic "Djoker"? |

Yes this has been a fantastic year so far for the Djoker! Actually Nadal still has a chance to become No. 1 but it is almost impossible. Djokovic has attained the nickname 'The Djoker' (combining (Djok + joker) because of his joking around off the court and impersonations. He likes to fool around, impersonating many other tennis players, including Sharapova, Federer, Nadal etc. It's also easier to spell the Djoker than his full name. :) |

| Thanks for your reply, Canadaguy. I just thought you teased him because he beat Federer in the semi-final. Now I know what you meant. He can be a successful clown after retirement. Just kidding. |
