bulet train from shanghai to Beijing

Hi,
I understood there's a bulet train reaching around 400 Kms per hour going from Shanghai to Beijing but beacuse of time limits I can't take it. still I realy want to be on such train so I wonder is there a short path I can do on it from Shanghai and back?

GUESTDAVE The bullet trains between Shanghai and Beijing stops at several stations on the way. You can get off at one of them and then turn back to Shanghai. For instance, you can get off at Changzhou ( about 40 minutes from Shangahai) or Nanjing ( about 1.5 hours) and then take another one back to Shangahi. Remember buy the ticket to the wanted destination, for the further you travel, the more expensive the ticket will be. And the ticket will be unrefundable once used.
