Online train ticket booking service for the Multiple Trains to start from Sept. 30

guest1448 From Sept. 30, all multiple Unit Train tickets will be available to be purchased online, according to Xinhua News Agency. The passengers can buy the MU train tickets on www.12306.cn. The procedure is the same with online train ticket sales for Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Tianjin high speed rails.

First, the passengers need to register on www.12306.cn. Then they can follow the steps to buy the tickets.

Notice:
1.The passengers need to offer valid documents to buy the tickets for MU trains online. The valid documents include ID card, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, Taiwan Compatriot Pass and passport.
2.The passengers who have ID card can swipe their ID card to board the train.

WWW.12306.cn is for all passengers including tourists. But it is in Chinese. If you want to book train tickets, you may try here: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

I assume that you can not read Chinese, right? So better find an agent to book the ticket for you. Of course you need to pay some money to the agent.

The Spring Festival Travel Rush almost started. It is very difficult for you to get a ticket in advance. Buying the ticket on the same day when you leave is impossible.

Are you willing to take bus from Shanghai to Hangzhou? You can get to Shanghai South Long Distance Bus Station to take the bus. There are many buses.
