hi, welcome to china! :]
beijing have many places to see,you can search in some websites.they should introduce those places. and i have map of beijing city and it's subway maps in english.if you don't have it i can send it to you by email.
have a good time in china.by the way, if you travel to guilin, i can be your free guide.because i live in guilin~~
