Women's workplace attire

I will be interning in Beijing during October and November. Could you give me an idea of the appropriate attire for the weather and the business culture? (styles/colors to avoid). I am from Puerto Rico so we tend to use colorful dress tops in the office, I've also worked primarily in Florida so most of the time we can go by with short sleeved dress tops.

GUESTDAVE It will turn colder and older during your stay in Beijing. For early October, a t-shirt and a coat will be enough. But November is the winter time and thick coat and sweater may be necessary. THe inddor will be warm, for there is heating installation.

I'm not so sure what to wear for work. Every company has its own culture and dressing habit. You can dress by following your workmates.
