What are the visa requirements to visit China for 90days study purpose for Nigerian Tourist in Dhaka

TECHTOTAL Points: Join Date: Sep 18, 2011 Status: offline	Dear Sir I am a Nigerian tourist in Dhaka Bangladesh for travel purpose and I secured an admission for a 90days research study in Biomedical Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Science. Can I secure a visiting student visa from Dhaka Bangladesh to travel to China for study? If yes please what documents will be required. Thank you very much

You may only get a tourist visa in Bangladesh for you are not working or living there. The tourist visa usually allows one to stay in China for 30 days at most. But it can be extended twice within china, each allows 30 dyas stay.

Actually, you need an F visa to study for a short term in China, but an F visa can only be obtained n your own country. THe requirements are:
1.One completed visa application form with a recently taken passport photo stuck on; all blanks on the application form should be filled in with genuine information; false or incomplete information and illegible words may lead to rejection;
2. An "Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit" or "Confirmation Letter of Invitation" prescribing the visa validity, number of entries and stay period ; 3.Qualified original invitation & guarantee letter with signature and stamp from the Biomedical Engineering at the Chinese Academy of Science. The letter should state clearly applicant's name, position and passport number, applicant's company name, address and telephone number, purpose of visit, duration of stay and specific itinerary in China;
4.The original and one photocopy of the applicant's ID card. (The original will be returned to the applicant after the interview) ;
5.Hotel reservation in China and round-trip ticket between Nigeria and China;
6. Recent bank statement of account;
7.One photocopy of the applicant's passport Bio-data page and, visa pages with Chinese visa if any;
8. Other documents the Chinese Embassy requires.
