TAMARVARDY Points: Join Date: Aug 10, 2011 Status: offline	Hi All, if I will take a flight that lands in Shanghai (SHA) at 15:40 , will I make it to the bulet train Shanghai-Hongqiao that goes to Beijing around 17:50 /17:55 ? or it's a bit risky?

GUESTDAVID	Time is rather tight. It takes about 100 minutes if you take the subway line 2 to travel from Pudong airport to Hongqiao railway station.

If you take the subway, it takes around 1 hour 30 minutes (50 minutes) since you have to transfer at the Guanglan Station. Or you can take airport shuttle bus line 1 and get off at Hongqiao East Transportation Center(虹桥东交通中心). Then walk around 8-10 minutes to Hongqiao Railway Station. It will save you some time.

TAMARVARDY Points: Join Date: Aug 10, 2011 Status: Offline	Thanks for the answer but i dont understand something. isnt SHA airport means "Shanghai Hongqiao Airport" ? and isnt the train station where the bullet train is leaving to beijing from called "Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station" ? It sounds like they should be on the same place, no ? how come it takes that long to get from one to another ?
