Dear members,
I am serious on thsi matter - there was someone imposing as me last night. I was watching the online members without logging in. It was a Pinetree from US and at time of my above message only WOCCA was online. I am not insinuating that he is the guilty party - but I was hoping he could be my witness.
That Pinetree stayed for at least 1 hour and during which time a couple of other members came in incl Jabaratoo and NihaoChina. Whether they noticed this or not, I am unsure.
But someone with good computer knopwledge was indeed here as my impostor. I was hardly about to log in but managed to on 3 occasions and my name swas switched back to be from SG.
I don;t care what Wocca said above - he is as cute as usual and begging others to help him. He is the one that is helping to giv trouble here.
Catherine - yes, please delte me from this COmmunity before that impostor gets me into trouble. It is said "It is easy to avoid open spears but difficult to duck hidden arrows". Beware. There is at least 2 hypocrites amongst the members.

And Wocca - u and Elcabron still owe us an apology on the proven case that Snowbird/me are not the same person.
And Wocca - am sure that the Control can check whether it is true that u were here alone online with Pinetree of US at the same alleged.
Wocca - I found out that despite being a "lecturer" (of some sort) u can't debate and argue even in your own language. U only know how to quote/cut & paste and resort to complaining to others to help u. U are not a matured person. I think this is 1 of the reasons that you find S'poreans hard to handle - we have handled so many of you here in Singapore. And we are and have the courage to square you off.
If Catherine canot help u, go down on your knees then. Maybe that would help, baby.
Goodbye and cheeros.

This whole episode started off with a controversial subject. And it become a heated argument. Nothing wrong really as it is due to the subject matter. Bad choice of subject!!

Nobody is at fault is spite of inappropriate remarks. Let us not get carried away.

It would be silly for the Forum Moderator to delete members just because of this silly episode. We learn from this thread. If this is a mistake we have to learn from it.

Controversy will always happen whatever the subjects are. If members don't like the comments they can choose to ignore it or they can choose to reply. But don't expect everybody to share the same opinion as you. Take all criticisms, good or bad. keep the good ones and discard the bad.

Pointing fingers will not help anybody. Leave the bad feelings and move on. We learn.

Nearly every post is controversial because different people paricipating have always different opinions. If you ask for the best hotel in town you wil get different answers.
That everybody can have his opinion is common outside of China - and maybe some people dont understand that.

A controversial post leads to productive arguments and gives ideas about different point of views you maybe have not thought of so far.

But if someone has no arguments and starts to spread lies without any true content and even attacks others (even threatening physical violence) or complete nations (racial discrimination) than you have a true TROLL.
If someone cant discuss things on the basis of common sense..... Heated arguments dont mean you give up your brain at the wardrobe while surfing in the internet.
But even those reactions are interesting and give an inside view.

The job of a moderator would be to take care of lies (propaganda, racial discrimination, threatening people and so on.....). Those things are no arguments and cant be ignored. If there is no moderator, I can speak for myself on those lies.

This person talks as if he is the innocent party. If anyone following the whole episode, one notices that he is the party that started calling others with different ideas, names.
What a cheek he has. The difference is in the culture and upbringing.
When one doesn't examines his own action/ behaviour, he feels free to point at others without any guilt. They also refuse to apologise for their calling "Pinetree, Snowbird/Newbird or whoever you are ".
There are 2 examples of such people here.

GUEST28058 While it is a sensitive question, the solution should not be one of national pride but of mutual benefits. The current generation of Chinese people will undoubtedly give a very one sided view against Japan, and in a twisted sense they do very much have the right to do so. The current generation of Japanese people will most likely consider themselves uninformed on this issue and instead, would focus on contemporary Sino-Japanese relationships. (Which includes both good and bad examples such as Eastern Chinese Sea Oil Agreement and Chinese manufactured Gyoza Poisoning). The truth of the matter is, politicians on both sides agree a peaceful Sino Japanese trade relationship will be the most beneficial policy for the region, however, there has not been enough effort made by either side to truly boost either nations' public images pertaining to each other. A quick look over Sino Japanese relationship through out history will tell you that either nation were cultural competitors at best, grudging rivals at worst. The ironic issue is, unlike modern Europe, the general public of Eastern Asia are still too focused on the past than what is at hand, which is American imperialism. But this has to do with cultural misunderstandings. For the specific Sino Japanese example, it is not uncommon for the Chinese to think of Japan as a derivative of Ancient China. Most would point to the Kanji system of the Japanese language as blatant "borrowing" of the Chinese language. However, to do so is unwise. It would be the equivilant of pointing to every latin based language and culture and claim them as derivatives of Rome. It would be a tragedy if more efforts are not made in the future to bolster Sino Japanese relationships and steer toward a more productive direction. But if it does not happen, it would be because hatred and selfishness was placed before forgiveness and collaboration toward a common goal.

GUEST17234 Hello every one, i found this forum as i was reading about China-Japanese relationship.
Its an inspiration i got from watching a movie i did not get i title but oh my, what a horrific scene, i felt miserable and hated the Japs for their atrocities, i have been sympathetic to Them after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki but not any more given to what they did to the Chinese in the 1930's. That should be a compensation for the Chines, am not advocating for war here but for a Nation like Japan not to realize and apologize for what it did is unethical and absolutely snobbish, i do not know of the cause yet but i can bet i have lived with the chinese and are a respectable and harmonious race, wake up the Japs, apologize or the living lord may reap you for all your sin, goobye for now

GUEST37230 Is hard to forgive when the fact is in front they show no sign of remorse how can we expect to forget and forgive when no remorse or regret are shown except arrogance and ignorant attitudes towards this issue from the japanese? People say past is the past and lets move on to a better future. BUT, if people does not realize their mistakes a better future will never be formed. The japanese is still being ignorant about this whole matter so I think the relationship will never heal because it would just get worse and worse.
