The World No.1 Djokovic announces that he will not show up at the China Open due to his injury. After winning the champion of the USA Grand Slam, Djokovic played Davis Cup but retreated in the match because of his injury. The Serbian media claimed that Djokovic has muscle tear but his team said that it wasn’t that bad. He also said that he would show up at the China Open to defend his champion. On September 20, his manager and uncle contacted the organizing committee of China Open, saying Djokovic would come to China. Today, Djokovic made a contact and said that he couldn’t play China Open due to his injury. Venus Williams and Solderling both retreated from the China Open because of their illnesses. However, Chinese fans still can see Sampras, Safin, Roddick, Hewitt, Serena Williams and other Top tennis players.
