Hi, could any advice me that how actually a local chinese shall apply for a PRC passport? does any website show the procedure of doing that? will it be very troublesm?

it could easy now. Go to Security Bureau. Take you ID Card. 200 RMB. Be perpare for the picture shoting:).

Thats it?! just go to any of the security office (Gong An ju) with your ID and $$$?? if i was born in GZ, can i go to security office in other state?

my suggestion is local one. And you have to wait two weeks. Won't be troublesomes.The point is Visa, bud.

Local one means my hometown rather than other state right?
i believe visa gonna go to respective embassy to deal..

You need bring your residence booklet, ID card , 2 passport photos,and 200yuan
