I will be moving to Shanghai soon.I want to know if there are any restrictions in moving personal household goods into Shanghai

What kind of personal things are you referring to?

I am an Indian Natinal moving to shanghai from Tokyo.By household Items I mean my furniture,kitchen items and electrical appliances etc.(all of which I am currently using)

I guess it is ok. However have you ever thought of the expenses? I think to buy new ones in China is more economic than you take it by air and pay for the extra weight.
