Hi .
Which bus station has the service Guangzhou to Shenzhen.
And where the stops are.
Is the train a better option.
My partner likes to see the sights and not sure the train is subway.

Train is also a good choice. There are both bullet trains from Guangzhou railway station and Guangzhou East Railway station to Shenzhen. You may check the train schedule here http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/ by typing in departure and arrival stations.
If I'm a stranger in a city, I may travel by train. The Shenzhen railway station is connected with the subway, by which one can go to Shenzhen Windown of the World or some other sites.

You can take metro to east station.
then take train to SZ.
