How hard is it to get a K1 visa for my Chinese Fiance?

I have known my fiance for over a year. I went and lived and worked in China for 2 months to be with her. We now want to get married and have her move here. She lives in Guangzhou now and I was wanting to know how long the process is from getting her passport and getting her visa to come here? Also are there any tips anyone can give us to help the process go smoothly?

Usually it takes about 5~7 working days to get her passport, it's easy.
And about 6~10 months to get her K1 visa.
