| Many foreigners like Chinese dumplings very much. In fact, not only Chinese but also Ukrainian make dumplings. Ukrainian use fruits (apple, pear and cherry), vegetables (potato, cabbage, mushroom and cheese) and pork to make fillings. The dumplings even appear at the state banquet. It is said that Putin has tasted dumplings with cherry filling when he paid a visit in Ukraine. By the way, Ukrainian people call dumplings “Vareniki”. |

| Sunnydream, nice post. I didn’t know fruit or cheese dumplings before. Thanks for telling us. I also have a recipe of making dumplings with filling of tomato and egg. Ingredients: 800 grams tomatoes, 8 eggs and 1000 grams dumpling wrappers. Seasonings: 50 grams sesame oil, 8 grams salt and 8 grams white sugar. Step 1 beat 8 eggs in a bowl very well. Step 2 heat some edible oil in the pan and fry beaten eggs and let them cool down. Step 3 Cut two cuts on the top of each tomato, quick-boil in boiling water so that you can get rid of its skin easily. Step 4 Cut tomatoes into pieces and get rid of its seeds. Step 5 Mix fried eggs with tomato pieces very well, add salt and sugar and then stir the mixture very well. Step 6 Wrap dumplings with the filling of tomato and egg. If there is too much water in the filling, you can put the filling over a sieve and drain the water. Step 7 Boiling dumplings in water. Add water when boiling and repeat two times. Dish off. Dip dumplings in vinegar and enjoy yourself. |
