hey everyone...im goning to be in beijing on the 27th and i would love to get some shopping and bargaining advice from those of you who have been there or is there already. i want to make sure that i get the best bargains. i'd appreciate any advice.

WE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL TIMES IN BEIJING AND OUR EXPERIENCE WITH REGARDS TO SHOPPING IS AS FOLLOWS=SHOULD YOU TAKE ANY ONE DAY TOURS TO THE GREAT WALL ETC THE GUIDES WILL TAKE YOU ON THE WAY BACK TO THE JADE FACTORY, SILK FACTORY AND CARPET FACTORY ETC , ALTHOUGH THE ARTICLES ARE CONTROLLED BY THE GOV AND ARE PRIME QUALITY THEY ARE EXPENSIVE.FEEL YOUR WAY IN BEIJING, VISIT THE PEARL MARKET, SILK MARKET ETC, THESE ARE SHOPPING MALLS WITH THOUSANDS OF STALLS OF EVERY ARTICLE IMAGINABLE. VERY GOOD QUALITY AND REASONABLY PRICED. HAGGLE WITH THE VENDORS, THEY EXPECT AND LIKE YOU TO BARGAIN. FOR EXAMPLE CUT THE ASKING PRICE DOWN BY HALF AND TAKE IT UP FROM THERE.IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFORMATION ASK US.
