![]() | Could any of you please recommend a decent mid-price ranged hotel in the centre of Beijing? There are so many and the room names have no descriptions, e.g. what is the difference between double room and a deluxe room? I am going in May and looking at the $30 - $60 price range. Thanks so much guys! (BTW, I love this website.) |

![]() | You can find a three star hotel in Beijing within your range of $60-80USD. Double room means a room with one big bed, usually for couples. For the deluxe room, the facilities inside it should be better that that in the standard rooms. |

![]() | Hi, Luky! As Anthea said, usually the middle ranged hotel refers to 3 star hotels. If you want to live in downtown, you may check info about those locations around Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Avenue. May is the tourist peak season, esp the first week of May. You'd better make a reservation with the hotel beforehand. |
