![]() | After a four-day (Nov. 22-25)’ trial run, the Civil Aviation Museum was formally opened to the public on Nov. 26. The museum collects and exhibits a variety of civil transport airplanes in history. Perhaps, the most precious exhibit is the IL-14 transport aircraft. In 1954, Stalin sent this airplane to Chairman Mao as a gift. Also, the visitors can have a chance to see UK Trident, Airbus’s A310, China’s Y-7 and other transport airplanes. Opening Hours: 1. 09:00-16:30 from Tuesday to Sunday (tickets available before 16:00) 2. closed every Monday except the statutory holidays) Tickets: the museum issues free tickets to the visitors. They can get the tickets at the ticket office by their valid certification (for example, ID card). Location: on the Capital Airport Side Road near Weigou. |
