The 28th annual British Social Attitudes report indicates that more and more people blame poverty on ‘laziness’. 54% of the participants believe that social security benefits were too high and discouraged people from finding jobs. Also 63% believed parents who “don’t want to work” were to blame for their kids living in poverty. Do you believe that high social welfare makes people lazy and live in poverty? |
