My best friend is an American, 62 yr old, now recovering in the US from severe abuse at the hands of his Taiwan wife that married him and then refused sex and demanded money. He was desperate to have a good wife and tried very hard to get along with her. She was disrespectful and would hit him every day with a broom, yell, curse, spit. He was in hell. I am not sure if this was typical for an Asian woman or not. Be sure that you look into the culture and town that the woman is from before you give up your heart, money and health to someone who is not from your own culture. |

 | Panda, I am pretty sure that the old man won't take his wife's abuse as "LOVE". Just curious why he divorces her after being tortured by his wife. If he reports her to the police station, I think that someone will save him immediately. And never teach your future foreign husband about "打是亲骂是爱", Panda. Otherwise, he might have a good excuse to abuse you.  |
