Wanting to marry a chinese woman in U.K.

can someone please tell me the quickest and simplest way for me (English male resident in U.K.) to bring my chinese girlfriend from China to marry in the u.k. as there appear to be so many options & I'm finding it a little confusing at present.

GUEST13169 It is easier to go to China and marry her there and there apply to bring your wife to the UK. You will need proof that you are free to marry (divorce papers are not proof), and proof that you are a genuine couple (not a sham marriage). Collect as much evidence as possible, emails, chat logs, photos together etc.

I would recommend that you join this free none commercial forum http://nanninginfosite.editboard.com/.

Members there (UK, European, Australian) have all married or are in the process of marrying Chinese ladies and their advice is invaluable.
