2012 is the year of Dragon according to Chinese lunar calendar. To celebrate the forthcoming lunar New Year, China issues a commemorative dragon stamp.

Well, this dragon on the stamp looks very scary. A guy wrote on his microblog “When I saw this dragon stamp, I was scared to death”. His words spark a discussion on this dragon stamp.

I saw the dragon stamp and the dragon did look a bit scary. It seems that he was very angry but I couldn’t figure out why.

Do you think it is scary? What does the dragon look like in your mind?

It's terrifying. Look at its eyes, teeth and claws. China just wants to tell the world "We are strong, vigorous and powerful ".
