Moving/Opening a school in china
Jan 14, 2012 04:18
guestJonny My wife and I have both trained in teaching in the uk my wife specialising in special needs and I in sports and we both have BA(hons) degrees. I see that there is lots of jobs in teaching English in china. However we are both also very interested in Martial Arts and studied kung fu in china for a while as well as other arts. What do you think we would need to do to open a martial arts/ english school? So the business would have two sides an english school for the chinese and also a martial arts school where westerners could come and learn various styles of kung fu and chinese in china? Would this be viable I think I would most likely need a chinese investor. What do you guys think about this?

GUEST7843 Yes, it is good if you find some Chinese investors. They know much about China than you. So they can offer some help.

GUEST22233 To work in China you need to have a job offer from a Chinese company which is registered to employ foreigners. Or you must be willing to invest substantial funds to open or invest in a business. Business registration in China is quite complex so many are registered in Hong Kong.
