Invitation Letter Validity

guestannie Hi,

I have a invitation letter issued by the Chinese government on the 29/12/2011. I entered China on the 4/1/2012.

I plan to go to Hong Kong next month to arrange my Z class visa.

My question is, how long is the invitation letter valid? Only one month? Will it still be valid if I travel to HK next month to process my visa?

I believe it will be, but get your employer to find out. as that appears to be the Chinese government that should be easy!! I did say should..this IS China!! Oh and it took a past employer of mine nearly 5 months to organise my Z visa, during which time I worked on a tourist visa. The local PSB office was fully aware of this.
