No matter how difficult it is, people who are far from their homes will come back to reunite. It is a happy thing but gradually becomes some people’s burden. Why? They can not afford to spend the Spring Festival. During the Spring Festival, they have to buy gifts for their relatives, give money their parents and send out lucky money to little kids. Look at this guy’s bill. Clothes: 4135 yuan. Chinese people buy new clothes to celebrate and welcome the New Year. Gift expense: 3790 yuan. Money given to his and his wife’s parents: 9760 yuan Transportation cost: 2710 yuan Parities with old friends and classmates: 1400 yuan New Year Goods: 1000 yuan In all: he spends 22795 for the Spring Festival, about two months’ salaries.

Why? They can not afford to spend the Spring Festival. During the Spring Festival, they have to buy gifts for their relatives, give money their parents and send out lucky money to little kids.

He is rich and just complainted about the expense. I earn 4000 yan around per month. I estimate that I might spend more than 5000 for 2012 Spring Festival.

You know, I just married in 2011. I need give money to parents-in-law and prepare some good gifts. Of course I will give money to my parents. There is a tradition in our hometown. The newly wedded couples have to visit almost all relatives. So I have to prepare gifts for our relatives. Inevitably, I have to give lucky money to the little kids.

In all, I will spend 1.5 months salaries for the Spring Festival.

JIMMYB Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: Offline	I spent about CNY 3500 for this Spring Festival. This year, I gave red envelops to my parents and lucky money to my sisiter and niece. Besides, I bought some presents for my relatives. If you have money, you can spend it like water. If you don't, you have to make a good plan on how to spend it. I am poor. So I just spent a little during this Spring Festival.
