I bought some cloves of garlic and forgot to eat it. Someday I found it and noticed that the garlic had been sprouting. I dare not eat sprouting garlic because some cooks said that the sprouts in the cloves were indigestible.

Anyone ate sprouting garlic? Is it safe to eat it?

FUJITA_SAKI,

Have you eaten garlic shoots? The garlic shoots grow from the sprouting garlic. If the sprout isn't long, you can eat the garlic as usual. It tastes worse but can be eaten.

If you find some spots on the sprouting garlic, please do stop eating it. The sprouting garlic in the picture are edible. Don't worry. If you are still worried about it, just remove the sprouts and then eat them.
