Goubuli steamed stuffed bun is a very famous snack in Tianjin. Due to its fame, the Goubuli steamed stuffed buns are sold very expensively. A guy ordered six steamed stuffed buns and paid CNY 96 at last. He also ordered a dish of fried peanuts which cost him CNY58.

He thought the Goubuli steamed stuffed buns were sold too expensively. Thus, he put two photos on Sina Weibo, drawing much attention from other users. “The Goubuli steamed stuffed buns are sold as LV. They are too expensive. I suggest Goubuli start a new business to sell LV bags.”, according to a comment.

Do you think it is expensive to spend CNY 96 buying eight steamed stuffed buns?

If you ask a local in Tianjin, he/she will not suggest you eat Goubuli steamed stuffed buns. It is too expensive. Even the locals don't eat it.

I ate it when I was in Beijing. Honestly, it tasted just so so. The steamed stuffed buns made by my mom are better than Goubuli steamed stuffed buns.
