Applying for Fiance visa while holding a Tourist visa

guest43227 this post keeps disappearing.. not sure why. trying again!

my chinese girlfriend got a tourist visa in january and came to visit me here in usa. now she is back in china and we will apply for a fiance visa to get married properly. how will this affect the tourist visa? what if she comes back to visit me here and the fiance visa arrives (in china?). could we then marry here and be legal, or will she be forced to return to china again, only to return again with the fiance visa? thanks!!
