As a result, more than 300000 Chinese civilians and captives were slaughtered by Japanese soldiers. This incident was called “Nanking Massacre”. On Feb 20, the mayor of Nagoya denied Nanking Massacre when mayor of Nanking and other officials paid a visit to Nagoya. Nanking has established friendship with Nagoya. Due to the mayor of Nagoya’s statement, Nanking has cut off friendship with Nagoya. On Feb 22, the mayor of Nagoya announced again that Nanking Massacre doesn’t exist and he will never take back what he has said. During the World War II, Japanese committed unforgivable sins not only to China but also to other countries. An old Japanese soldier admitted that Japanese soldiers even ate captured US pilots. Why can’t Japanese face Nanking Massacre?

GUEST13063	This denial by the mayor of Nagoya is deplorable and it sums up the attitude of the country of Japan towards China. There are many examples like this around the world in recent history, like Turkey and the Armenian massacre. Nanjing mayor acted properly and an apology is due, but it won't come.
