It's been quite a while since I've participated in the forum.

I've been married now for 3 1/2 years to a lovely woman from Nanning. Our daughter, my step-daughter actually, is in finishing her first year in pharmacy school.

Last summer I had serious health problems. In October, 2011 I expected to be in a wheel chair for the rest of my life. Now I can walk.

My hope is that I can walk enough to enjoy the sights that I still want to see. It may be a little ambitious, but I'd like to climb another of China's mountains.

So I'll be looking for ideas of how to manage traveling in China with a significant limitation walking...but I'll post with the questions when I know where we can go.

I'm happy to see that some of the old posters are still here.

May the year of the Dragon bring all of you good health and good fortune.

Griz, long time no see. Didn't you had serious health problems. All I can say is "Wish you could recover soon and make your China trip available."

Griz, welcome back and I’m glad to hear that you are back on your feet.
Stay vertical for as long as you can. I hear the alternative is not that exiting.
Cheers, Dodger

Thank you for the well-wishes.

I'm still recovering and am told that process takes a year to complete. That said, I am doing great! Not as good as I used to be, but still pretty good.

Good news! I believe that you can do much better to recover.

Hello, Griz, nice to see you again!
Somehow I have missed or then simply forgotten your wife is from Nanning. Mine is too.

Just train hard and you will dance the night away again.

Carlos
