Hi!
I would like to cook steamed buns and I have some questions...
How is it turn out so white even though it cooked\steamed ?
What is it pau flour? what is it made of?

Hi, steamed buns made by my mom are not as white as the ones you posted. It's so white because an additive has been added in flour, that is, Benzoylperoxide.

According to what I have found out, China has ordered to forbid adding benzoylperoxide in flour.

Look at these steamed buns.
