hello, i eat Chinese food 2 - 3 times a week, around here(in Vancouver) allot of restaurants have a dish they call JA JA mein. that may not be the correct spelling. basically its shredded pork in a sweet hot sauce on top of noodles.
now i know the mein part is the type of noodle used. so JA JA sauce? no idea how to spell it but that is how it sounds..
any idea of what the ingredients are to get that spicy sweet taste.. from what i can obviously see it has.
-shredded pork
-hot red pepper flakes
-some kind of oil
its a red sauce. different restaurants make it a little different but i like all of them.. but don't know where to start..
