Beijing, Dalian, Xiamen and Kunming raise taxi fuel surcharges

Thanks to the rising oil prices, Beijing, Dalian, Xiamen and Kunming have issued notices that taxi fuel surcharges will rise.

From March 31, Beijing taxi fuel surcharges will rise from CNY 2 to CNY 3. Taxi passengers needn’t pay for the fuel surcharges if they take a journey less than 3 kilometers.

From April 1, Dalian will start to impose taxi fuel surcharges. Passenger need to pay CNY 1 more when they take taxi.

Since March 30, Xiamen has raised the taxi fuel surcharges to CNY 3 no matter how long your journey is. Previously, the fuel surcharge was CNY 1 if your journey is less than 3 kilometers.

From March 31, Kunming will raise the taxi fuel surcharges to CNY 3.
