Travel Agencies in Lhasa - someone has experiences?

Hi, we have booked a flight from Chengdu to Lhasa. Now we wonder if we can just book a jeep tour around Tibet once we are in Lhasa or do we have to do this in advance? We fear that we will be stuck in Lhasa.

Does anybody has experiences with Travel Agencies in Lhasa and can tell me how long they need to provide a jeep, guide and traveling permit?
