| Hi, I've a problem here and I'm really puzzled on how to go about it. I am a Singapore national and my friend is a Chinese national from Shanxi Taiyuan and he can only get a Tour Group Entry To HK via Shenzhen. Upon reaching Shenzhen, he has to register himself with a tour agency who upon registering brings him across to HK. My questions are: 1) Is there any tour agency in Shenzhen that can do this service that you guys can recommend? If so, could you help by providing the contact details of the agency? 2) If he were to return to China, can he leave HK for Shanghai instead of going back to Shenzhen without the tour group? 3) If he is to be brought by the tour agency across to HK, can I be on the same trip as him, so that we do not get lost should we go to HK separately? 4) I have read that there are many available ways to get to HK from Shenzhen. Is there many way for my friend to go to HK with me from Shenzhen? 5) What are the procedures that he has to follow? This is his first trip out of China. Really appreciate all the help here if possible. |

| In fact, he doesn’t have to join any tour to reach HK. Some agencies just bring people like your friend to HK without requiring them to join their tours. The charges vary if you enter HK via different borders. Usually, it costs CNY 50 if you enter HK from Luohu Border. He is a Chinese. Just ask him to search these agencies online and negotiate with them. When he arrives at Luohu, someone will pick him up and bring him to HK in a “group tour”. |
