Right on the doorstep is Liwan Hu Park with its lake, grassland and trees. Just a little walk away is Pantang Gourmet Paradise street that will also take you to the famous Shangxia Jiu Shopping Center. The historical Chen Clan Academy, the famous Shamian island with its European-style buildings and quiet leafy avenues and the Fish Market with its incredible array of fish and other delicacies are only 3-5 bus stops away. APAULT Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2006 Status: Offline	I stayed there 2 nights: the proprietors are trying hard to help guests with whatever they need. It's good to see more hostel beds in Guangzhou, the demand from Chinese young people has increased so much (great!) that the one or too long established hostels can no longer cope.
