Zhuhai Cost of Living Question
May 1, 2012 07:57
guest42138 I have a question for those of you who live in Zhuhai as I am wondering about the cost of living there and may move there.

Approximately how much is an order of fried rice or fried noodles in a cheap 'hole in the wall' restaurant? I lived in China before and regularly had meals in those places.

And how much is one of those big bottles of locally brewed beer in a supermarket?

Those are always my cost of living determiners in China.
Thanks!
Jack

GUESTSAM Hey Jack!

Wish I could help ya.
Looks like no one lives in Zhuhai.
I can tell you that when I lived in Zhengzhou fried noodles were 7 yuan,
And beer was 5 Yuan.

Don't have any Zhuhia info, sorry.

Dear Jack,

I am a local people in Zhuhai.
You can reassure that the price of foods and drinks here are very competitive.
Well, there is local beer called HAIZHU BEER in zhuhai, a bottle of 540ml haizhu beer only costs 4-5RMB in supermarket.
Once I recommended it to one of my British friends, he likes it so much. And brought four bottles when he left Zhuhai. hehe
Anyway, just let me know if anything I can assist you.

Best Regard!
Jamila

GUEST19894 About the fried rice or fried noodles, I think 15 yuan is enough.
