| HI, It looks like I might be moving to Chongqing this summer with my husband and our rottweiler, as well as a cat. Can anyone tell me about housing and pets in general in Chongqing...esp. houses rather than apartments for rent? |

| Kirsten, Houses are available but they would be fairly expensive. The townhouses are newer and I think cater to a more western market. As for bringing your dog, plenty of people have them though nothing that size. It would probably be up to negotiations with your landlord, but I think you would have trouble with such a big dog, even as far as walking/excercising it goes. Alex. |

| Thanks Alex, that was kind of you to respond. I'm interviewing with a school that says it has apartments with gardens. Dexter, the dog, loves to fetch, so we can excercise him that way, although he is used to long walks. Another question, my husband is an engineer in electronics. I can't find much on the internet on jobs for him in Chongqing....any tips? I don't have the job yet, but am just trying to sort out the situation before I decide. Thanks, Kirsten |

| Hi Kristen, I'm a Chongqing girl name's Jessie and about what you concerned, many ppl in Chongqing living apartment building, so if you have a big dog, maybe there will not be enough room for him to running around. As far as job seeking, there are many English teachers job needed all the time and some other jobs. I'm actually doing city tour guide and business assistant as my part time job, so if you need help, write email to: 263.net|mylu Jessie |
